payabl. has renewed its partnership with Kaspinas Group, securing its role as the Official Payments Partner for the BEONIX Festival and the ETKO venue in Cyprus. For fintech professionals, this represents a significant real-world application of omnichannel payment architecture, managing high-volume transaction spikes across both digital ticketing and physical point-of-sale environments.

What was announced

The partnership covers the 2026 edition of the BEONIX Festival, scheduled for 25–27 September at the ETKO venue in Limassol. The event is expected to host approximately 25,000 visitors and features a lineup of 68 artists, including Adam Beyer, CamelPhat, and Benny Benassi. payabl. is providing a full-stack payment solution to handle the complex requirements of a large-scale international festival. Online ticket sales are processed via payabl. checkout, while the company’s payment links are utilised for specific transactions such as ticket upgrades and special reservations.

On-site, the infrastructure shifts to physical hardware. The payabl. in-store solution will facilitate card and contactless payments across all bars, ticket points, and vendor stands. This setup is designed to handle the high transaction density typical of peak festival hours. Central to the operational management is payabl.one, a unified platform that aggregates transaction data from both online and in-person channels. This gives Kaspinas Group a single view of their financial activity across the BEONIX event and the broader calendar of events hosted at ETKO throughout the year. The agreement also includes a marketing component, with payabl. receiving visible branding through on-site activations, festival signage, and digital media campaigns.

"We are pleased to continue our partnership with payabl. for another year. Payments are an important part of the experience we provide across BEONIX and ETKO, from online ticketing to purchases at the venue. Working with one partner across all these touchpoints gives us a more consistent way to manage payments while supporting the scale and demands of a festival such as BEONIX."

Charalampos Xenofontos, Director at Kaspinas Group.

What FF News has reported before

FF News has tracked the expansion of payabl. as it broadens its service offering across Europe. Recently, the company has made significant strides in the e-commerce space, as seen when payabl. Launches Payments Integration for Shopify Merchants. The firm has also been active in the UK market, where payabl. Brings Connected In-Store Payments to the UK as Part of Its Omnichannel Growth. Beyond product launches, payabl. has contributed to broader industry discussions on security; our reporting on Retailers Brace for Black Friday as They Name It the Worst Time of the Year for Fraud highlighted the pressures merchants face during peak periods. Additionally, the company's research was featured in Rising Fraud Puts Half of UK Retailers at Risk of Closing or Scaling Back in 2026, underscoring the critical need for secure payment infrastructure.

What this means

This renewal underscores a growing trend where large-scale event organisers move away from fragmented payment systems in favour of single-source omnichannel providers. In high-pressure environments like a 25,000-person festival, the technical risk of downtime or data silos between online and on-site sales is a major operational liability. By consolidating these flows, merchants put pressure on traditional banks and legacy POS providers who often struggle to offer the same level of integrated data visibility. The industry must now consider whether the "one-stop-shop" model for event payments will become the standard, potentially squeezing out niche players who cannot offer both digital gateways and physical hardware.
