Revolut Pay Partners with Just Eat for One-Click Rewards and Payments in UK and Ireland
By Lauren Towner · 28 October 2026

Revolut has integrated its Revolut Pay solution into the Just Eat app across the UK and Ireland, marking a significant expansion of its merchant acquiring ecosystem. For fintech professionals, this move signals the increasing maturity of account-to-account (A2A) payments in the gig economy, leveraging biometric authentication to bypass traditional card rails at scale.
What was announced
The partnership introduces Revolut Pay as a primary checkout option for Just Eat customers in the UK and Ireland. By utilizing account-to-account (A2A) technology, the integration allows users to bypass manual card entry, instead authorizing restaurant and grocery orders via biometric authentication such as Face ID or fingerprint recognition. This mechanism aims to increase transaction speed and reliability for Just Eat’s millions of users and its network of 362,000 partners.
To incentivize adoption, the companies have launched a promotional period running from 28 October to 27 December 2026. During this window, users earn a 5x boost on RevPoints for every purchase made through the app. Once the promotion concludes, a permanent 2x points boost remains in place. Furthermore, the integration allows for the instant redemption of RevPoints for cash discounts directly within the Just Eat app and web checkout. This collaboration leverages Revolut’s massive scale, which currently includes over 80 million retail customers and 850,000 business clients globally.
"This partnership brings together two platforms with a shared focus on convenience and customer experience. By integrating Revolut Pay into Just Eat, we're making everyday purchases faster and more rewarding, giving customers the opportunity to earn extra RevPoints on every order and seamlessly redeem them for instant discounts at checkout. We're excited about the potential to build on this partnership and bring even more value to our customers."

The companies involved
Revolut has evolved from a digital-only challenger bank into a global financial super-app. With a user base exceeding 80 million retail customers, the firm has aggressively expanded its suite of services to include merchant acquiring, business banking, and loyalty programs like RevPoints. Its business division now serves more than 850,000 companies, positioning it as a significant player in the B2B payments space alongside its consumer-facing operations.
Just Eat Takeaway.com is a dominant force in the global on-demand delivery market. Headquartered in Europe and owned by the multinational conglomerate Prosus, the company operates a vast network of 362,000 partners worldwide. It facilitates millions of orders through its platform, connecting consumers with local restaurants and grocery stores. The integration of Revolut Pay represents a deepening of ties between two of Europe’s most prominent technology firms, as Just Eat seeks to streamline its checkout experience and Revolut aims to embed its payment solutions into high-frequency consumer spending categories.
What FF News has reported before
Revolut has maintained a high tempo of product launches and strategic shifts throughout late 2024. FF News recently covered how the bank is diversifying its ecosystem, including the launch of Revolut Mobile in the German market. The company has also been active in the loyalty space, recently establishing a partnership with Eurostar to allow customers to convert RevPoints into rail travel. On the regulatory front, the firm has been vocal about competition, notably backing the CMA’s move to open Apple’s NFC access to UK fintechs. Additionally, Revolut has expanded its social impact initiatives through a collaboration with the International Rescue Committee to facilitate global humanitarian donations.
What this means
This partnership is a direct challenge to the dominance of traditional card networks in the high-frequency delivery sector. By steering users toward Revolut Pay’s A2A infrastructure, Just Eat can potentially reduce its reliance on interchange-heavy card rails while offering a smoother biometric experience. The move puts pressure on legacy digital wallets that still rely on card-behind-the-scenes models. However, the long-term success of this integration hinges on whether consumers are willing to shift their habitual checkout behavior for the sake of loyalty points. It raises a broader question for the industry: can A2A payments finally achieve mass-market ubiquity by piggybacking on the "super-app" loyalty ecosystems?
