Reap and Collinson Partner to Bring Priority Pass Lounge Access to Stablecoin Cardholders
By Lauren Towner · 5 October 2026

Reap’s partnership with Collinson International marks a significant shift in the digital asset space, bringing traditional premium travel benefits to stablecoin-linked card programmes. By integrating Priority Pass, Reap is bridging the gap between onchain wealth and real-world luxury, a move essential for fintechs aiming to compete with legacy private banking institutions for high-value customers.
What was announced
Reap is enabling its clients—which include global crypto exchanges, Web3 neobanks, and asset managers—to offer Priority Pass access to their cardholders. This provides eligible users with entry to more than 1,900 airport lounges and travel experiences, such as spas, dining, and sleep pods, across 865 airports in 143 countries. The move is designed to help digital asset firms differentiate their card products in an increasingly crowded market by offering the same lifestyle perks associated with traditional high-end credit cards.
Collinson International’s own research supports this strategy, indicating that airport lounge access is the most coveted travel benefit among consumers. Furthermore, 92% of respondents in the Asia Pacific region stated that travel rewards and benefits encourage them to use their cards for both everyday and travel-related expenses. By embedding these perks into stablecoin-native infrastructure, Reap allows its clients to reward card usage and improve customer retention. This is particularly relevant as stablecoins transition from speculative assets to functional currency. The partnership aims to ensure that a cardholder using a Reap-issued card in Tokyo or Hong Kong receives the same level of service and experiential value as a premium cardholder in London or New York.
"As the payments landscape continues to evolve, the ability to provide experiential value is becoming an increasingly important differentiator among financial products. Travel experiences, in particular, offer payment providers a powerful way to deepen customer engagement, build loyalty and lifetime value. We are delighted to partner with Reap as it expands across high-growth markets. Through access to Priority Pass’ global network of airport lounges and travel experiences, Reap can help its clients to broaden their offerings and deliver more seamless, premium journeys to travellers worldwide."

The companies involved
Reap is a Hong Kong-headquartered financial technology firm that has positioned itself as a leader in stablecoin-enabled infrastructure. Now owned by the major cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, Reap employs 300 people globally and focuses on merging traditional financial services with digital assets. In 2025 alone, the company processed billions in stablecoin-funded transaction flows, offering products ranging from corporate cards to cross-border payment solutions and embedded finance. Reap was an early leader in the Asian market for incorporating stablecoins into corporate treasury and spending solutions.
Collinson International, the partner in this venture, is the owner and operator of Priority Pass, the world’s first and largest independent airport lounge membership programme. Collinson is a family-owned business under The Collinson Group, which has been operating for over 35 years. The group comprises five distinct operating companies and generates a combined annual revenue of £2.1 billion. With a workforce of more than 2,500 people across 14 countries, Collinson is a dominant force in the global loyalty and customer engagement sector, providing the infrastructure that powers many of the world's most prestigious credit card reward programmes.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has tracked Reap’s rapid expansion into the global payments market throughout 2026. In late September, the company made headlines when Reap and Visa Launch Global Stablecoin Card Programs Across 100+ Markets, a move that significantly broadened the reach of digital asset spending. This followed the introduction of Reap Launches Sentry to Automate Card Fraud Management for Global Fintechs, which addressed security concerns for card issuers. Earlier that month, the firm debuted its Reap Launches Virtual Asset Ledger to Enable Direct Bitcoin Spending via Visa Cards, while in August, we reported that Reap Launches Direct USDC Funding via Hyperliquid to Streamline Corporate Treasury.
What this means
This partnership signals that the "crypto card" is maturing beyond a niche tool for early adopters into a direct competitor for the mass-affluent and high-net-worth segments. For years, traditional banks held a monopoly on lifestyle perks like lounge access, using them as a moat to protect their most profitable customers. By democratising these benefits for stablecoin users, Reap is putting significant pressure on legacy issuers who can no longer rely on "soft" benefits to justify their fees. The industry must now ask whether traditional loyalty programmes can survive when digital-native platforms offer the same prestige with superior settlement speed and transparency.
