Ecommpay Raises €1,625 for Street Child via Children's Day Art Initiative
1 September 2026

Ecommpay has raised €1,625 for the charity Street Child through a creative internal initiative marking Children’s Day. For fintech professionals, this move highlights the growing importance of "Ecommpay for Good" ESG strategies, demonstrating how corporate social responsibility can be integrated into firm culture to drive engagement while supporting global educational access in challenging environments.
What was announced
Ecommpay launched a Children’s Day initiative on June 1, 2026, to support Street Child, an international charity focused on providing education and better life starts for children. The campaign involved employees and their children submitting original, hand-drawn artwork. A strict rule was enforced: no AI-generated art was permitted, emphasizing human creativity. Submissions included everything from formal drawings to casual meeting doodles and notebook sketches.
These designs were transformed into a limited-edition merchandise collection sold internally to Ecommpay staff. The production run included 25 T-shirts, 15 mugs, 9 magnets, and a variety of postcards. The pricing structure for each item was split roughly 50/50 between manufacturing costs and a direct donation to the charity. Roughly half of every purchase covered manufacturing, while the other half went directly to supporting Street Child's work.
The initiative successfully raised a total of €1,625. This funding is earmarked for Street Child’s ongoing missions, which include rebuilding schools after crises and creating educational opportunities for young people across Africa, Asia, and Europe. The project was designed to align with the "Ecommpay for Good" mission, aiming to make the digital economy more inclusive and community-oriented. Internal feedback from staff, including Aziza Nurmatova and Alena Golopiatova, indicated high engagement with the campaign's creative and charitable goals.
"The Street Child Children’s Art Day was met with incredible enthusiasm right across the business. This is another example of how we are bringing our ‘Ecommpay for Good’ mission to life - making sure the digital economy works better for everyone. Reflecting who we are as a company - creative, generous and community-minded - our colleagues brought forward their artistic skills to support a cause that deeply resonates with us. We are incredibly proud to support Street Child’s vital work and to help ensure more children can continue their education."

What FF News has reported before
FF News has closely followed Ecommpay’s recent milestones and research. In August 2026, the company was recognized for its industry presence, as Ecommpay Secures Triple Shortlist at Fin.Tech Marketing European Awards 2026. This followed the launch of their educational initiative, where Ecommpay Launches ‘Making Payments Make Sense’ Podcast to Demystify Fintech Complexity.
The firm’s technical capabilities were also highlighted when Ecommpay Secures Fraud Prevention Solution of the Year at 2026 Retail Systems Awards in June 2026. Additionally, the company has been active in consumer research, notably when Ecommpay Research Reveals 50% of Consumers Distrust AI Agents with Payment Details, a finding that aligns with the "no AI" rule in their recent charity art initiative.
What this means
This initiative reflects a broader shift in the fintech sector where corporate identity is increasingly tied to social impact rather than just transaction volumes. By explicitly banning AI-generated art, Ecommpay is taking a stand on the value of human creativity—a notable position given the industry's rush toward automation. This move puts pressure on other mid-tier payment providers to demonstrate tangible ESG outcomes that go beyond boilerplate mission statements. The challenge for the sector remains whether these small-scale, internal grassroots efforts can scale into the systemic changes needed to truly make the digital economy work for everyone, or if they remain isolated cultural wins.
