Salone dei Pagamenti and Fintech District have formed a strategic partnership to internationalise Italy’s premier payments conference. For fintech professionals, this represents a concerted effort to bridge the gap between the Italian domestic market and global innovation hubs, facilitating cross-border investment and operational partnerships ahead of the November 2026 event in Milan.

The collaboration targets the 2026 edition of Salone dei Pagamenti, scheduled to take place from 24 to 26 November. The primary focus of the partnership is the development of “Stay Fintech, Stay Tech”, a dedicated section of the event designed to showcase fintech and techfin solutions. This area is intended to function as a nexus for financial institutions, corporate entities, and investors to engage with innovative startups, with a specific emphasis on international collaboration.

Fintech District will leverage its network to attract international companies and innovation hubs to the Milan-based event, helping to develop content focused on financial service innovation. The agreement also integrates the Agorà del Futuro, an initiative aimed at linking technological innovation with new business development models. This follows an initial joint appearance at Money20/20 Europe in Amsterdam in June 2026, where both organisations participated in the Italian Pavilion organised by ICE-Agenzia. The partnership is designed to broaden the scope of discussions around open finance and digital transformation, specifically aiming to create a more accessible environment for international operators looking to enter or collaborate within the Italian financial ecosystem.
