Finsei Launches Integrated Card Acquiring to Simplify Merchant Payment Ecosystems
By Lauren Towner · 8 September 2026

Finsei has launched a merchant acquiring service, allowing London-based businesses to consolidate card acceptance with existing multi-currency accounts. By integrating gateway and processing technology directly into its ecosystem, the firm eliminates the need for fragmented third-party settlement providers, streamlining cash flow for fintechs and cross-border merchants requiring unified financial infrastructure.
What was announced
Finsei’s new acquiring proposition allows existing clients to activate card acceptance through a simplified onboarding process. The service is designed to bridge the gap between payment acceptance and treasury management. Instead of managing separate providers for merchant services and business banking, users receive settlement funds directly into the same accounts that hold their multi-currency balances, Visa cards, and SEPA or SWIFT transfers.
The technical architecture of the service relies on two primary technology partners. Hypergate provides the payment gateway and orchestration layer, managing the routing of transactions to ensure efficiency and performance. Silverflow serves as the processor, offering direct connectivity to major card schemes including Visa and Mastercard. This setup allows Finsei to control the transaction flow from the moment a customer enters card details through to the final bank approval and settlement.
The service features a dedicated acquiring dashboard with independent login credentials, yet it remains fully integrated with the broader Finsei product suite. The company, which is ISO 27001 certified, ensures that all client funds are held within UK and EU banks under Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) protection. This launch marks a shift for the firm from a multi-currency account provider to a full-stack payment partner for businesses.
"We don’t believe businesses need a separate provider for every financial service they use. They need a partner that can bring the right capabilities together through one relationship. At Finsei, acquiring is part of a broader financial ecosystem: businesses that need more than payment acceptance get access to business accounts, payment infrastructure and other financial services through a single point of access. Our role is to reduce complexity, so our clients can focus on growing their business while we focus on making payments perform,"
Artjoms Dozorcevs, CEO of Finsei.
The companies involved
Finsei is a London-based payments company, operating as FINSEI LTD. The firm is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under reference number 900878 and holds company number 11347482. It provides a suite of financial services including multi-currency accounts, Visa cards, and SEPA and SWIFT transfers. Finsei maintains ISO 27001 certification and ensures client funds are protected within UK and EU banking institutions under the FSCS.
The company’s new service is supported by Silverflow, which provides processing and direct connectivity to major card schemes. This allows for greater control over transaction flows compared to traditional indirect processing models. Hypergate acts as the technology partner for the payment gateway and routing orchestration, focusing on improving payment performance through efficient infrastructure management. These partnerships enable the integration of card acceptance into a broader financial ecosystem that includes global schemes like Visa and Mastercard. By combining these technologies, Finsei positions itself as a single point of access for businesses that require both payment infrastructure and traditional account services.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has tracked the continued expansion of the Visa ecosystem, particularly regarding its integration with emerging payment platforms. We previously covered how REPAY signed a reseller agreement with Visa to provide direct platform access to ISOs and ISVs. Additionally, the network's role in bridging digital and fiat spending was highlighted when Anytap launched Visa-powered cards across the Asia Pacific region. We also reported on the expansion of the Visa Flex Credential in partnership with Onafriq and _able, demonstrating the scheme's push toward more flexible credit access in CEMEA markets.
What this means
The launch of integrated acquiring by Finsei reflects a broader shift in the fintech sector toward consolidated financial ecosystems. As businesses seek to reduce the number of vendors in their stack, the demand for platforms that combine merchant services with treasury and multi-currency accounts is intensifying. This consolidation puts significant pressure on standalone payment gateways and traditional banks that maintain siloed systems for banking and card acceptance. The industry is increasingly prioritising the speed of settlement and the reduction of reconciliation complexity over individual transaction fees. For the wider market, the success of such integrated models raises questions about the long-term viability of fragmented payment service providers.
