Payment Asia, ShipAny, and EasyStore Launch End-to-End E-commerce Hub for Hong Kong SMEs
By Effie Foxtrot · 9 September 2026

Payment Asia, ShipAny, and EasyStore have formed a strategic partnership to create an integrated e-commerce ecosystem for small and medium-sized enterprises in Hong Kong and across Asia. This collaboration addresses the operational fragmentation that often hinders SME growth by unifying storefront management, payment processing, and logistics fulfilment into a single, streamlined workflow for cross-border commerce.
What was announced
The partnership aims to bridge the gap between disparate systems that merchants typically use to manage their sales, payments, and deliveries. By aligning their respective platforms, the three companies are offering a more cohesive merchant experience designed to reduce friction and support international expansion. The collaboration focuses on the core stages of the business journey, from building online stores and managing multichannel sales to accepting payments and arranging local and international deliveries.
Specific financial incentives have been introduced to encourage adoption among Hong Kong merchants. EasyStore is providing new users with a first-year store-opening discount and an extended free trial; those on the Ecommerce Standard Annual Plan receive three additional months of service, while Retail OMO 2-Year Plan subscribers receive six extra months. Payment Asia is offering a 0.2% transaction fee reduction on the excess portion for merchants whose monthly volume reaches HKD 50,000, valid for six months. Furthermore, new merchants applying for automatic settlement will be exempt from account-opening and annual fees. ShipAny is contributing a HKD 200 logistics coupon for new accounts.
The technical scope of the collaboration covers several key areas of e-commerce infrastructure:
- EasyStore: Integrated commerce tools for multichannel selling, cross-border commerce, online stores, and order fulfilment.
- Payment Asia: Digital payment solutions, payment gateways, and automated settlement processes.
- ShipAny: A smart logistics platform providing shipping-rate comparison, logistics automation, and warehouse fulfilment for local and international shipping.
In support of this initiative, the companies co-hosted a seminar on Friday, 4 September, titled "The New Era of Omnichannel Retail: 2026 Hong Kong E-commerce Automation and Localised Growth Strategies," which explored retail data and consumer-behaviour insights.
"SMEs should not lose e-commerce opportunities because of fragmented systems and complicated workflows. Our shared objective with ShipAny and EasyStore is to make it easier for merchants to connect selling, payment collection and delivery, so that they can devote more time to their products, customers and market development."
Tanya Yeung, Hong Kong Director of Payment Asia.
The companies involved
Payment Asia is a payment solutions provider based in Hong Kong, operating through its primary digital presence at paymentasia.com. The firm focuses on digital payment integration and has been expanding its footprint in the Asian market by offering merchants various settlement and gateway options. It operates within the broader Payment Asia Group structure, positioning itself as a bridge between traditional merchant services and modern digital finance.
EasyStore, founded by Alan Kok, provides integrated commerce tools that span retail, marketing, and loyalty touchpoints. The platform is designed to facilitate multichannel selling, allowing merchants to manage online stores and order fulfilment through a centralized system. It specifically targets the cross-border commerce segment, which requires robust integration between storefronts and back-end operations.
ShipAny, founded by Taurus Cheung, operates a smart logistics platform. It serves as a one-stop logistics service provider, offering automation and warehouse fulfilment. The company’s primary value proposition lies in its ability to provide shipping-rate comparisons and streamline the delivery process for both local and international shipments. Together, these three entities represent a significant portion of the Hong Kong e-commerce infrastructure, catering specifically to the SME segment that requires scalable, low-friction tools to compete with larger retail players.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has previously tracked Payment Asia’s efforts to diversify its payment options and regulatory standing. In June 2026, the publication reported on how Payment Asia Integrates PayMe to Boost Digital Payment Options for Merchants, a move that significantly enhanced its local payment capabilities in Hong Kong. More recently, in August 2026, FF News covered the company’s international expansion in Payment Asia Secures Canadian MSB Licence as AlphaPay Completes Motion Pay Integration. This prior reporting highlights a consistent strategy of both deepening local market penetration through new integrations and securing the necessary licenses to facilitate cross-border financial flows for its merchant base.
What this means
This partnership reflects a necessary shift in the Asian fintech landscape toward "platformization." For too long, SMEs have been burdened by the "integration tax"—the time and capital lost trying to make logistics software talk to payment gateways and e-commerce storefronts. By bundling these services, Payment Asia, ShipAny, and EasyStore are putting pressure on standalone service providers who cannot offer a similar end-to-end experience. The move suggests that in the current retail environment, competitive advantage is no longer just about the lowest transaction fee, but about the depth and seamlessness of the ecosystem. The industry must now consider whether the future of e-commerce lies in these tight-knit alliances or in open-API agnosticism.
