Mesh Acquires Bluvo to Scale Global Crypto Payments Network Connectivity
By Lauren Towner · 14 October 2026

Mesh has acquired exchange connectivity developer Bluvo to strengthen its position as a primary infrastructure layer for the crypto economy. By integrating Bluvo’s technology and talent, Mesh aims to enhance the reliability of its 300-plus exchange connections, streamlining how digital assets move between disparate wallets and financial platforms for fintech developers.
What was announced
The acquisition centers on the integration of Bluvo’s exchange connectivity technology into the Mesh network. Mesh, which has been operating since 2020, currently supports more than 300 integrations across various crypto exchanges and digital wallets through a single API. The addition of Bluvo is designed to improve the uptime and technical resilience of these connections, reducing the friction typically associated with cross-platform asset transfers.
As part of the deal, Bluvo co-founders Florian Sabani and Luca Dalla Chiara have joined the Mesh team. Sabani takes on the role of Senior Staff Software Engineer, focusing on the reliability and scalability of the network’s integrations. Dalla Chiara joins as Head of Exchange Partnerships, where he will manage the company’s relationships with external trading platforms. These appointments bring the original developers of the connectivity technology directly into the Mesh foundation to maintain and scale the network.
The move is part of Mesh's broader objective to create a unified financial stack where currency, chain, or wallet type becomes secondary to the movement of funds. By bringing the Bluvo founders in-house, Mesh intends to consolidate the development of its connectivity layer, moving away from fragmented external solutions toward a more robust, centralized standard for digital asset payments and conversions on a global scale.
"The next era of finance is one where a user's money moves wherever it needs to go without them ever thinking about which chain, exchange, wallet, or currency it started in. Mesh has spent six years building the network that makes that possible, and we intend to be the standard the world moves on,"
Bam Azizi, CEO and Co-founder of Mesh.
The companies involved
Mesh is a digital asset transfer and crypto payments network founded in 2020. The company operates as a connectivity layer, allowing users and businesses to link their existing exchange accounts and wallets to third-party applications without leaving the interface. This "embedded finance" approach for crypto has seen the company integrate with hundreds of financial services platforms to facilitate seamless digital asset payments. Mesh maintains a significant presence in the market, with its infrastructure powering various fintech applications that require real-time access to user balances and transaction capabilities across the fragmented crypto ecosystem.
Bluvo is a specialized developer focused on exchange connectivity technology. Prior to its acquisition, the company worked independently to solve the complexities of linking disparate exchange architectures. Its founders, Florian Sabani and Luca Dalla Chiara, built the firm to address the technical hurdles of maintaining stable connections in the volatile crypto exchange market. While Bluvo operated as a smaller, focused technology provider, its integration into Mesh represents a consolidation of specialized connectivity talent into a larger, more established network that has already secured dozens of major industry partnerships.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has closely followed Mesh’s expansion within the digital asset ecosystem. We recently covered how Bybit Pay Integrates with Mesh to Unlock Crypto Payments for 80 Million Users, a move that significantly expanded the network's reach. Additionally, the company has made strides in the B2B sector, as seen in our report on how Deel and Mesh Partner to Secure Global Stablecoin Payroll with Instant Wallet Verification. What this means
This acquisition signals a shift from broad expansion to technical consolidation in the crypto infrastructure space. As the market matures, the primary challenge is no longer just adding new integrations, but ensuring those connections survive the constant API changes and downtime inherent in the exchange landscape. Mesh is effectively buying reliability, which is the only way to convince traditional financial institutions to adopt crypto rails for mass-market use. By absorbing a specialist like Bluvo, Mesh is putting pressure on competitors who rely on generic or less stable connectivity layers. The industry is moving toward a winner-takes-all scenario for the underlying plumbing of digital finance.
