FTS.Money has integrated business verification, financial crime screening, and identity checks into its platform through new partnerships with The KYB, AML Watcher, and Facia. For fintech professionals, this modular approach to compliance allows for highly specific, pay-as-you-go risk management across merchant onboarding, supplier due diligence, and international sanctions screening.

What was announced

FTS.Money is expanding its compliance and verification capabilities by onboarding three specialist partners into its ecosystem. The KYB provides registry and ownership evidence, AML Watcher delivers risk intelligence, and Facia contributes liveness and deepfake-aware identity checks. These services are integrated into FTS.Money’s portfolio, specifically supporting its veraf.ai and Trust Anchor Service (TAS) products.

The collaboration is designed to be modular, allowing customers to select specific providers and checks based on their requirements. This flexibility enables organisations to build specialist checks directly into payment, merchant, or partner onboarding workflows. For those requiring direct access, veraf.ai allows eligible users with a legitimate purpose to state a specific check, view the cost, and pay only for the selected service. The platform then generates a source-cited report, though material findings remain subject to human review.

Where higher levels of evidence are required, TAS can bind an approved record to an organisational identity, making any subsequent alterations detectable. TAS functions as an independent service or as part of a broader FTS.Money deployment. Initial use cases for the combined technology include merchant onboarding, supplier due diligence, identity assurance, and Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) reviews, alongside sanctions and Politically Exposed Person (PEP) screening. Availability of these services is subject to local jurisdiction, data rights, and specific service agreements.

"Trust is the real infrastructure of payments, and it should not belong only to large institutions. With these partners, any eligible organisation can choose its checks and trust the evidence."

The companies involved

FTS.Money is a financial technology firm focused on payment infrastructure and trust services. The company has developed a portfolio of tools, including veraf.ai for AI-driven intelligence and Trust Anchor Service (TAS) for identity and record integrity. Ajmal Samuel serves as the Founder and CEO of FTS.Money and is also the founder of TAS.

AML Watcher is a risk intelligence provider and a subsidiary of Programmers Force. It specialises in sanctions screening and financial crime prevention data. Facia is an identity verification firm that focuses on biometric security, specifically addressing risks associated with deepfakes and liveness detection. The KYB provides business verification services, focusing on corporate registry data and ownership structures to assist in due diligence processes.

Together, these entities represent a shift toward specialized, interoperable compliance stacks. By unbundling the various components of Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, these firms allow smaller financial institutions and fintechs to access the same level of rigorous screening typically reserved for major global banks.

What FF News has reported before

FTS.Money has maintained a steady stream of strategic partnerships aimed at expanding its technological footprint. In August 2025, FF News reported on the company's Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ASK FIDES to advance AI-driven legal intelligence integration. This followed another August 2025 announcement regarding a strategic MoU with Metadomo to expand payment solutions in developing markets.

Earlier in June 2025, the firm signed a three-way agreement with Kdotco and CARE to advance financial infrastructure. FF News also covered the company's move into green fintech in late 2024, when FTS.Money and Nano partnered to focus on sustainability within the financial technology sector.

What this means

This announcement reflects a broader industry trend toward the "Lego-fication" of compliance. Rather than relying on a single, monolithic provider for all verification needs, fintechs are increasingly opting for modular stacks that allow them to swap providers based on cost, accuracy, or regional data access. This puts significant pressure on traditional all-in-one compliance suites to justify their often-opaque pricing models. However, the rise of modular checks raises questions about data consistency; as firms mix and match evidence from different sources, the industry must grapple with how to standardise these diverse reports for regulators who may still prefer traditional, consolidated audits.
